Welcome to Golden Age Bakery
Our name is a reference to comic books. The late 1930's to the late 1940's were the “Golden Age” of comics. The first comic Superheroes appeared during the Golden Age. Golden Age Bakery specializes in transferring artwork from these historic comics onto delicious sugar cookies! The cookies are entirely edible. We use food-dye ink and icing-sheet transfers to create a picture-perfect image. As far as we're concerned, there is no such thing as “looks too good to eat."

Based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Golden Age Bakery is a gluten free bakery owned and operated by Sylvia Toth.
All products are made by hand in small batches. All
natural ingredients are used wherever possible. We take
pride in the quality of our products, and are constantly
looking for new ways to improve.
